Alcohol Effects on Diabetic Patients

Alcohol has many adverse effects on the overall health. Drinking alcohol too much on a single occasion or over time can take a serious toll on your health .It is an addiction which controls your senses and moods. Alcohol has lead to many accidents and family disharmony. Even various centers are being established for the addictive persons. Drinking alcohol is a source of pleasure for men and women. There is an increasing rate of women drinkers. Also, school and college children are adopting the habit of drinking at an early age. The urban lifestyle has changed their food and drinking habits.
 
Alcohol can affect the way the brain works and causes disruptions which changes mood and behavior. • Alcohol can cause nausea, increased heart rate, and slurred speech.
 
Constipation is a condition in which bowel movements occur less frequently than usual or stools tend to be hard, dry, and difficult and painful to pass. Constipation is common in children and is usually without long-term consequences. Children often develop constipation as a result of stool withholding. Delaying a bowel movement causes stool to become hard, dry, and difficult to pass. Causes of constipation in children include:
• a low-fiber diet
• certain medications or drugs
• diseases such as Hirsch sprung disease, diabetes, and Down syndrome
• anatomic abnormalities, such as a birth defect
